Shower Cancelation

We had a last minute problem with our Bridal Shower for my neice. The National Guard suddendly has an emergency drill the weekend of her shower which is March 7. I am thinking that we should send some sort of memo to all invited to the shower letting them know about the change and informing them of the new date which will be the following Sunday...Any ideas as to how to word this?
