My father and I listen to this song constantly.
It is call Buttterfly kisses it is an awesome song.
You can find it at any christian store. Just tell the clerk it is about a little girl and her father sticking white flowers up in her hair and later walking down to give her away.

I have a friend his name is Mr. Buddy Stephens he will for $124.99 take a song that you like and make it into a special song for you.

You can email him at yourtune.com.

You can take like my song for example with will be Father`s Eyes by Amy Grant and have it inot a song parody.

He is keep the tune to the song but changing the words to be my special song. Hope this helps.

If you decide to go with Mr. Buddy tell him Jacqui told you all about his wonderful services.

If you aren`t finding the right lyrics to express how close you and your daughter are, how about choosing an instrumental and taking dance lessons together? You two will have fun learning some new moves and your guests will clearly see how bonded you two are when you dance for them. Either way, here are some popular Father/Daughter songs you may like in case you haven`t checked them out yet:

Natalie and Nat King Cole - Unforgettable
Frank Sinatra - The Way You Look Tonight
Temptations - My Girl
Kenny Rogers - Through the Years
Bob Carlisle - Butterfly Kisses

Good Luck!

I have to say that I would shy away from the Butterfly Kisses song myself. It`s very sappy and kind of `emotional blackmail` in my opinion. Everybody cries and it is supposed to be a very happy day. It`s not about having your daughter leave you it`s about creating a larger family by taking on a son-in-law. Just my opinion.

HI
I am a professional disc jockey who has done hundreds of weddings over the years. In most cases, the bride choses what song should be played, depending on a variety of how she views her relation towards you. The rule doesn`t make the exception. Tradition has been re-invented in the past decades, so there`s no specific guide line, if you see MOST songs they play are geared for two lovers, yet, it is the moment that inspires the bride to think of her "daddy`s favorite song" what brings them together, in that very special moment called the father-daughter dance.
If I had a daughter, I would dedicate to her: "I`ll be there" by the Jackson 5, or Mariah Carey. I dunno, you may say that stinks! See? I`ts what or how you relate to your daughter. 99% she will say, "My daddy used to sing this song when I was a little girl, all the time..." I`ve had a bride who asked "Sunshine" (out of Fiddler on the roof?) Any ways...you catch my drift. I just did two weddings over the weekend, on one they left it up to me and I played "You`re a big girl now, no more daddy`s little girl" By the stylistics...I just love that song and everyone was in tears...
The other was more standard "Unforgettable"...
There is one by Elton John, out of the "Lion`s KIng", which is the one I will dedicate to my son when he get`s married...Tradition....(sometime during the course of the evening)
Here`s a few tips for both worlds::

Check out Natalie Grant`s "Always Be Your Baby." She wrote it for her own wedding day for her dance with her father, and it`s truly a beautiful song.
