Favors For Men And Women

We are giving out scented candels that are in a frosted glass jar that comes complete with decorated lid (jar and lid completely reusable as decoration). We are looking for something to be given to the men as well when they come to the reception. The only things we know about what we want to hand to the men is that 1)no matches or anything that encourages smoking 2)trying to keep the cost down to under $2 per person (we are still university students working only part time on the side). Does anyone out there have any ideas on what fits into those two guidelines that is nice or different? thanks for the ideas!!!:)

Mel,
Can you give me the info from where you are getting the cds? I know abeautifulcelebration@juno.com quoted me a great deal, but I like to check things out myself. Email me at pllenz@juno.com please.
Thanks.

Traci,

We are not buying them, not made anyways. I bought the cd-r`s and double cd cases (which holds 2 cd`s per case) off ebay. We are making them ourselves. Im also putting labels on the cd`s which i also got off ebay (the labels). In the end i can make 200 Double disk cd`s or 400 cd`s for around $150 dollars, a little less then that. Each disk will have 18-19 songs on them, depending on the length of each song. Hope this helps. If you have any questions you can email me at
Melissajoe@adelphia.net. Have a great day!! :o)

Try making a card that looks like the front of a tuxedo except the bow tie, then add a black satin ribbon tied in a small bow at the collar. Use your imagination, insert a $1 or $2 instant lottery ticket (scaratch offs) men love the excitement of possibly winning loot. Add this saying: Wishing you riches from the new Mr. & Mrs. (your name) it was a HUGE hit at friend`s wedding.

I give out Christmas and birthday gifts to my guy friends and the things that go over well include cookies, generic swiss army knives, shot glasses, and anything to do with beer or golf.

Matchbooks does not encourage people to smoke cigarettes! I have lots of matchbooks, I burn a lot of candles so the matches really come in handy.

There are some classical and/or jazz music cds that are sold as wedding favors, I think they cost around 5 to 10 dollars a piece though. Kind of pricey for wedding favors. I saw these somewhere advertised on the internet. Do a search for wedding cds and you should be able to find them.
