Shoes At David`s Bridal Are Cheap

I was slightly disgusted with the selection of bridal shoes at David`s Bridal. They were cheap, made of cheap materials, and ugly shoes for the most part. Has anyone else noticed this? I went to Nine West, they sell bridal shoes there.

I too got my shoes from Davids Bridal. They were VERY reasonable. My dress was Ivory and they sent them out to be dyed and they matched my dress perfectly. They were very comfortable and I will not wear them again, so for one day what the hay?

Maybe i`m the only one who thinks this way, but who`s going to see your shoes anyway? I mean if you have a floor-length dress what shoes you`re wearing isn`t really going to matter b/c most likely no one will see them at all or notice them. I`m amazed at how many people go out and buy super expensive shoes for their wedding day that usually aren`t seen and/or taken off. Why waste your money on that when you could use it on something else? I`ve only just begun this whole wedding planning thing and haven`t actually gone out and tried on any dresses or shoes yet, but when i do go for the shoes my plan is to go for comfort. I mean obviously the shoe should go with your dress but it doesn`t have to cost you an arm and a leg and they don`t have to be uncomfortable. Frankly, I wouldn`t even consider looking for shoes in a bridal shop because I`m not about to spend $150 on a pair of shoes. But maybe that`s just me...

Traci,
I agree wholeheartly. I am not sure how much my shoes were at Davids, but they were having a 15% off accessories sale. I am going to say I did not pay more than $30.00 for them. They were dyed and matched my dress perfectly.(Ivory). They were comfortable and I `m sure that I will never wear them again! It worked out for me!

Anyway, David`s Bridal is not the only place in the world to buy wedding attire. I didn`t like the shoe selection, so I went somewhere else.

I got my first pair of shoes off of shoe buy but then found another pair I liked so I sent them back. The shoes that I got from there were $20 less and they were dyeables. If you have a white dress than I think you should check out their wedding shoes.
