I Will Never Buy A Dress At David`s Bridal
I was shopping at a David`s Bridal on 10/25/03 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The wedding consultant (Jennifer) assigned to help me select and try on a wedding dress was rude and completely unprofessional. She insulted me and said that "dresses in plus sizes are hard to find." In additon, I was trying on a dress that was my size in wedding dresses, but she meagerly attempted to help me and said that "this dress is not going to fit you." The area outside of the fitting rooms was a disaster and I almost tripped on a tiera. When I tried to go over to a debris-free area with three way mirrors to get a full view of my dress, she told me that there wasn`t any room over there to look at dresses. I was completely insulted and unsatisfied by my visit to this store!

I`m not real sure where all you have been shopping, but I have gone with several people, sister and friends, to purchase gowns from Davids. I am also now purchasing a gown for myself. I can say that the David`s in Las Vegas is a great store. All chains reflect management, good managers tend to have better crew. The only problem I have with davids at the moment is the cost of the bridesmaids gowns, I think $180 is a little much to ask my maids to pay. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where i can get the same dresses fro alot less? racin_baby6399@yahoo.com

There is a store called Special Occasion Dresses. Also, Jessica McClintock has beautiful bridesmaid gowns. Try finding them "on sale" to get them less expensive.

I have a friend who worked for David`s and I have to say my shooping day there was wonderful. Maybe you went into David`s when they were really busy. I bet if you call the headquaters and told them of your time they might help you out. Sometimes business give out things to make up for the way you were treated if it wasn`t right!

I purchased my dress at davids bridal and couldn`t be happier. I had a great experience with my bridal cons. AND I ordered my dress which they told me would be in in 8 weeks but I actually picked up 3 weeks after I purchased it.
As far as the maids dresses go...usually if you buy your dress you get a certain percentage off the bridesmaids dresses. It may not be a huge percentage but it may help!

FOR ALL FUTURE BRIDES IN WINNIPEG, DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT EVEN THINK OF ENTERING STELLA`S BRIDAL ON CORYON AVE!!!!! THEY WILL MISTREAT YOU AND ABUSE YOU, MY LITTLE SISTER BOUGHT HER GRAD DRESS THERE AND THEY ARE SOO!!!!! RUDE AND UNPROFESSOINAL AND THINK THEY ARE THE BEST, I`M GETTING MARRIED IN 2005 AND FOUND A GEORGOUS DRESS FROM ANOTHE SALON AND ALSO VERY UNIQUE AND STELLA`S DOES NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE KIND OF DRESSES THEY HAVE AT STELLA`S, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF B*T** THERE SO AVOID!!!!
