Desperately Need Help

While planning our wedding which is set for April 3, 2004 I wanted to make my home more comfortable for my bride to be. So, I embarked on a major renovation of it. Needless to say, we`ve been extremely busy the past 6mos. To complicate matters, my love was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I`m also fighting with my own disability.

To make a long story sort, our budget has come up extremely short and we neglected to budget for flowers for our reception centerpieces. Does anyone know of any contests we could enter in the hopes of winning flowers for the reception. Anyone have any other suggestions? We`d really like fresh flowers if possible, silks just aren`t the same. It`s been a heck of a year for both of us but we are very in love, very committed to one another and really don`t want this one oversight to put a damper on our happiest of days.
Thanks in advance to any who respond.

A local grocery store may be able to do the wedding flowers very inexpensively. Try Tom Thumb grocery store if there is one in your area.

Otherwise, silk flowers can be very beautiful and often look like the real thing. Go to an MJ Designs or Michaels store to find them.

Try A Beautiful Celebration. Every year, they hold a contest to provide the complete needs for a deserving couple. Its an essay contest, and my sister won last year. They were great and it looked like we spent a fortune.
