Baby Shower Invitations
I`m having trouble with invitations for a baby shower I`m hosting. The problem is that the shower is in TX but the mother-to-be lives in NY. I know most people may say it`s rude to ask for money instead of gifts but we are trying to avoid lots of gifts and no way to transport them back to NY without huge shipping charges, is there any nice way to say monetary gifts are preferred without mentioning the word "money". I appreciate any help.

You could have The couple Register at Places that Will Ship the gifts to you Instead of the Giver. Most companies do this if you spend over $50.00 Online. Also encourage the Couple to add Gift Cards to their Registry.
