Roses For Moms
We would like to give each of the moms a long stemmed rose as part of the ceremony. I know it is done I have just never seen it done in person. What part of the ceremony does the b&g turn to the moms and give them? And what is the signifigance? Is it a thank you to them? Any advice would be great! ;)
Happy Day!!

Well I think its a good idea, but I`ve never seen it done in a ceremony. If you have a wedding coordinator, ask her/him about it.
What about the moms` wearing corsages?

They will be wearing a corsage but, I have seen a wedding where during the ceremony they turn and the groom give the MOB a single rose and the bride gives the MOG a rose. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this done.

This nice tradition is a way to say `thank you` to your mothers. I have a very nice Presentation Poem that goes with the rose, with a place for a picture of the two of you also. This is good to do during a Catholic ceremony as the beginning of sharing the sign of Peace...you start with each mother...or at the beginning or end of lighting the Unity Candle in other ceremonies....or right before you say your vows of marriage. I am out of town, so I do not have my party pop vendor ID...but you can find me at www.laeandpromises.com
