Well you could always do a red, white & blue color scheme for july.

Or, just pick a pale, summery color.

I`m getting married July 21, 2005. I`m going with white and a bunch of different shades of blue. Flowers will be white tulips (or roses haven`t decided) and blue hydrangeas. I also considered a fusia color and cream. Luck!

Not everyone on here is from the USA. Good for Americans, but suggesting a neutral country scheme such as just saying your national colours may be more equal to everyone who visits.

I just helped plan a summer (July) wedding where the color scheme revolved around Orange. Everything is looking beautiful! The colors range from a light peach to a firey orange. It looks really summery, and it is very different from anything I have ever seen! Very unique.

The bm`s are wearing peach hued gowns and carrying bouquets that are a range from the peach to the orange.

Since it is so unique, I thought I would share!

Good luck!

Jenny - I already suggested a red, white and blue color scheme for a July wedding. Or, pale pastels since it will be summer time. The only color that doesn`t look good in the summertime when its hot, is black. But ultimately, you are the only one who knows what colors you like. So the ultimate decision is up to you.

I am getting married in July 2004. My colors are different shades of orange also. I think it will be beautiful. My girls are wearing tangerine dresse(a soft orange), my table linens are peach and my flowers are different shades of orange...maybe a hint of soft yellow.
P.S. The color is a summery color and it looks great with a tan!

I am getting married this July. We`re using "garden colors." ---this works especially well for us, as we are having the ceremony in a flower garden. (Plus, most gardens are in full bloom by the end of July.) Attendants are wearing Ivory Tops and Green Skirts and will carry pink flowers; my dress is Ivory with multicolored flowers (mostly pinks, light and dark, and greens) embroidered on the bodice and hem; the centerpieces have dark pink roses, light pink roses, daisies, and ivy; the wedding arbor the ceremony will take place under will be wound with vines of various colored roses and lots of greenery. Tablecloths are light green.

And, I saw a really cute idea where you wire snapdragons (flowers) to plastic stir sticks and use them in mixed drinks. Very cute.

We`re also having a Martha-Stewart-style punch bar, with punch in colors of pink, green, tangerine, and yellow.

The way I see it, with a garden theme, you have many, many options --- as many as there are garden colors!

Good Luck!

Red, white and blue are the best colors for July wedding. For flowers, you could do red roses, blue delphinium or iris, and white lilies.

I`m getting married this July, and my colors are plum and lavender w/ silver. I doesn`t matter to me if those are "summer" colors or not, it is my wedding, so I am using the colors that I love! I say use whatever colors you like! :)

I am also getting married this July. I love red roses and wanted them in the wedding. The bridesmaides are wearing red dresses, and the flowers will all be red roses, with pale orange and pink roses incorporated to sofen it up a bit. These colors look beautiful together, and I don`t care if red is considered a "summer" color.

I think that red is a color that looks good year-round. Summer, spring, winter, or fall.
