I think that it`s perfectly fine to use a mix of silk and real flowers through out your wedding. Usually no one notices that the silk ones are silk instead of real anyways unless they get really close to them, so I doubt anyone would notice that you`re brides maids flowers are silk. A good way to make them appear less fake is to find a way to cover the stems really well like wrapping them in ribbon that matches the colors of your wedding/flowers. Good luck

I was in a wedding where the bridesmaids carried silk flowers, and the bride carried real flowers. It can be done.
