Finding Ceremony Sites
My fiance and I both relocated to Western Massachusetts recently and plan to get married here. We want to have a ceremony in a garden or something like that, but neither of us know the area well, and I am having trouble finding a source for possible ceremony sites. Any suggestions?

Hi Mandi-
OK, I am not in your area (Idaho to be exact) but I was in just your pickle last week. Boise has some beautiful garden locations but the restrictions were many. So the alternative became Bed & Breakfast locations.
We found a number of B&B`s that would allow for the wedding service AND the reception all in one location. We discussed lodging guests with the B&B, food, bathroom usage, etc.
For us, the end result has been renting a 5 bedroom/3 bath mountain resort Inn that is a 50 min drive from Boise. This will serve as venue for the entire wedding/reception. Out of town guests (parental units) are staying at the Inn. We have access to a kitchen w/ 2 stoves and there are 3 bathrooms that guests can use. Bathrooms are a big plus when you are thinking garden wedding. The 360 degree view and Payette River as a backdrop was a big plus.

Contact the local zoo or botanical gardens and see if they allow weddings there. Also contact local parks.
