Silk Rose Petal Drop??

My daughter came up with the idea of using silk rose petals instead of balloons for a drop after the ceremony. Has anyone ever heard of this or seen it done? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

This would be similar to tossing confetti or rice. Its not that much different. I think its a good idea.

The place I`m getting married at prefers that we use silk rose petals instead of real ones, because the real rose petals can stain the carpet and floor, etc. You can find silk rose petals at Michael`s or other craft stores.
