Wedding Tattoo

I`m in the same situation - I`m getting married in Sept and have a large tat on my shoulder. I fell in love with a strapless dress. I`ve considered having sleeves put on or a jacket made, but I`m afraid it will take away from the dress. I tried the Dermablend and it didn`t even start to cover my tattoo. My skin is very fair and my tattoo has a lot of blue and many other colors. Any specific products to recommend? Has theatre makeup been successful for anyone?
