2nd Marriages And Children

I was just wondering what everyone thought. This is my second marriage, My fiances first. I have a three year old who we want to enclude in the wedding because he is just a much a part of our lives as we are. I thought it would be cute to have him walk me down the isle as well as hold our rings. My mom has drilled him to death about this and he is so excited. He is so excited about wearing a tux like Daniels(fiance). He is so cute he tells me he is going to marry me all the time. We have also bought a little gold band like my fiances for him. Has anyone else included there children in there wedding and what are your thoughts on this. Or if you have any other cute ideas on how to include him.

Sounds great! My fiance and I are about to have our wedding. My previous wedding was a big to-do and his was at a courthouse. We decided to have a small wedding so he ( and his family) could enjoy him having a "real" wedding. I admit I loved planning my first too :-).
All of our children are involved in the wedding. They are all attendants in some form or fashion. His oldest boys are his best men and his daughter is a jr. Bridesmaid. My oldest son ( 8 ) is walking me down the aisle. The youngest 2 are acting as ring bearer and a sand child ( it`s a beach wedding). They are all excited about doing this.
Anyway you can included them into this union, makes them more excited about it.
I loved your idea of giving him a ring too. We have 6 children between us and decided to give them each a lei. We are also including them in the sand ceremony ( like the unity candle but with sand and a container).
Congratulations!
