Champagne Glasses As Wedding Favors
I am thinking of having a glass champagne flute decorated with a printed ribbon with the name of bride & groom and the wedding date as the favor for all the guests. The champagne glass would also be decorated with a flower to match the wedding colors. Does this sound like a nice idea? Any other suggestions? The guests could all use this glass for the champagne toast as well. Opinions/suggestions please :)

Thats a great idea........i thought of doing that too but i decided to make our own cd`s for favors. But champagne glasses is a wonderful idea.

They are a nice idea, but I question whether or not people would use them after the fact? Maybe you`re immediate family, but I know that I have discarded many wedding favours because I had no use for them. When people are going to have a glass of champagne it`s usually for a special occasion and they may not want to have your names on them. I don`t know, I wouldn`t use them if I got them from a wedding and they were engraved with the bride and groom`s name on them. However, I would use a shooter glass with the names on them. We thought of that for a gift, because people don`t use shooter glasses for special occasions necessarily. We have decided that we are also going to make a CD for our favours. People always listen to music.

I am also thinking of making a CD for a wedding favor. What kind of songs are you putting on it? Also are you making it yourself, or having a service do it? If you are having a service do it could you tell me a round about amount as to how much it is costing per CD?
