Can Never Find A Dress My Size! I`m A 0.

I`m 5`3" 105lbs and a size 0. Whenever I need to find a dress I can never find one my size & one that I like!

If i do find a size 0 it usually is still too long--seeing that i am only 5`3". I can almost never wear 3/4 length or full length dresses (I would hate to have to alter--the $$ adds up and I don`t have time to do it myself)

For my prom I had to wear a size 2 dress and I was so embarassed--even though it was altered it still looked and felt awkward!

Usually with other items of clothing (pants or skirts) I will find a 0 or a 1 and just wash it a few times to shrink to fit.

I would hate to have to do such a thing to my dresses. =(

Anyone know of a store where my chances of finding a fitting dress is better? Or any advice would be great.
