The replica has very different embroidery from the Oleg Cassini cv008- less detailed and less vibrant colors. If you`re going to go with lighter color embroidery, I think the Christina Wu 5116 is nicer than the cv008 replica. Forever Yours 43212 is also a really nice dress if you like bolder colored embroidery (but it`s more expensive- the Christina Wu dress is only $500-$600).

Lighter embroidery is used b/c the dress is white not ivory!

I think that is a matter of taste. Some may prefer to be a bold bride, others may prefer to be a bride who blends...
Since the Oleg Cassini cv008 is ivory with more vibrant, colorful embroidery and the replica is white with pastel embroidery, it doesn`t seem to actually be a replica, more like a variation on a theme... I just think it`s a little unfair to get brides excited about finding a copy of the dress they love when the dress being offered is actually quite different.

I didn`t say that the Christina Wu or the Forever Yours look like the cv008 dress. I said they were both dresses with color embroidery that I find to be more attractive than the cv008 "replica."
Also, I have tried on the Cassini cv008 and it is beautiful AND it looks extremely different from the pictures of your dress. So we just have different ideas of what replica means. I think it is okay to express different opinions on a message board...
