Cupcakes Instead Of Cake?
Is this acceptable? i would like your thoughts if you have seen this at other weddings and how were they displayed. Thank you.

To me cupcakes are more like for children`s birthday parties. I wouldn`t do it at my wedding. But I gues you could if you really wanted it.

I`ve never seen it myself but I guess you could get some of those big tiered cake platters and display them. Can I ask why you would want to have cupcakes?

I saw this in Martha Stewart`s current magazine. The bride had cupcakes instead of sliced cake and each cupcake was topped with an edible monogram of the couples initials. They had it displayed on several tiers. Maybe I could have a small two tier cake as the center -piece and the cupcake around it.. I haven`t decided to do this just thought it was an interesting concept and a different alternative to sliced wedding cake. Thanks for your thoughts.

I`ve seen pictures and honestly I`m not too crazy about the cupcake look at a wedding. However, I think your idea of doing a two tier cake with the cupcakes around it will probably look very elegant. Add fresh flowers all around too!

In search engine put cupcaketree
They show it used for a lot of occasions but on one they have a two tiered cake on top of the whole thing. My sister is doing this instead of the sheet cakes to go along with her wedding cake. (which won`t feed everyone).

I love the cupcake idea, although we r having a classic wedding, it doesnt suit our theme. Ps it works out about the same price so its just a matter of choice i guess.
