Parent Of FlowerGirl Have An Issue

I emailed my friend a photo of the dress I would like his little girl to wear as my flower girl in the wedding. I listed the price and where to get it. I didn`t think it was expensive so I had no worries. My friend left me a message a while ago stating that his daughter is flower girl in another wedding the very next weekend after mine and they cannot really afford my dress. I can completely understand the money situation as I have been there and still get there sometimes. So, my question is should I look for another dress, should I offer to let the parents look for a dress of their choice and just send me a photo so I can see if it goes with the wedding, or should I offer to go in half with them on the dress I already picked out?
