Cupcake Tree Site
I noticed lots of interest in cupcake trees. Here is some info I have run across in my planning. Maybe it is helpful...
Last night I was in Stein Mart, and saw a pretty glass 3 tiered cake stand for around 30.00 which would work, too.
I am having cupcakes in addition to weddiing cake and grooms cake. I think they are so cute!
We are also having a cookie table, a tradition I read about in Philadelphia. I asked a friend to help organize this. She is asking 10 friends of the bride and groom to prepare cookies for this, and she will be in charge of serving, arranging the cookies for the reception.
Has anyone ever heard of this tradition?
God bless, and keep having fun planning!

I live in the Pittsburgh area, and just about all weddings that I`ve gone to have had a cookie table. The cookies are set out at the begining of the reception and used as hors d`oeuvres. This gives your guests something to munch on while waiting for the bridal party to get the the reception site. Use whatever cookies that the bride and groom like. My neice just got married a few months back and we did lady locks, peanut butter blossoms (peanut butter cookies with a hershey kiss on the top) and sugar cookies in the shape of her new last inital, mini cheese cakes and a few other ones. You can go as crazy as you like or keep it very simple. I would do about 3 cookies for each person. People tend to take a few cookies home. And if you have any left overs, you can freeze them. Good luck and have fun!
