We are being married soon, and i want to include something in our church service to remember those special people who have passed on, but we are really stuck for ideas.
Can anyone help
Thanks

I am doing the same thing and have decided that I am going to have a pilar candle-the candle holder is angels-burning with a framed letter stating something about THIS CANDLE BURNS ON FOR THE PEOPLE THAT COULD NOT BE HERE TODAY WITH US BUT THEY ARE IN OUR HEARTS.

Something like that.

You can dedicate the alter flowers to them in your wedding program.

Hi Rose,
We are lighting a candle right after our unity candle in memory of my parents and my f/h`s parents. There will be a small picture of them on the alter with the candle in front of it. I also have a poem in my program for that time during the ceremony. E-mail me if you would like the poem.
Good luck,
Sandie

Hello there...our wedding is in a week here....we also have done the In Memory thing....I lost my grandparents and my fiance lost his grandfather.....all we did is get the pictures framed...and I found a poem that i did in calligraphy and had it framed......here is the poem:

IN LOVING MEMORY

Although we can`t see you
We know you re here
Smiling down watching over us
As we say "I do"
Forever in our hearts
Forever in our lives
And so we say our vows
In loving Memory of you

We will have this present at the ceremony, with burning candles to represent their presence.
