Hi
Do you want to avoid the annoying glass clanking? Or are you just looking to be unique? I hate the glass thing, personally drives me up the wall! So I`ve already told the usual suspects that will be at my wedding that if they want to be obnoxius and make us kiss, they`ll have to be prepared to stand up and say something about us and their relationship to us. That way if their not comfortable doing something while every single person there watches, they can`t expect us to!! Should make for a fun and interesting night :)

At one reception we attended, the couple announced that anyone wishing for them to kiss would first have to sing at least part of a song to them! At first, the DJ went table to table. But, after a while, he just left an open mike for anyone to come up & sing.

At my cousin`s wedding she asked that instead of clinking the glasses that a couple would have to go up in front of the head table and "show them how it`s done" to get them to kiss. It made for some pretty hysterical moments.
Good luck!
