Reception Music.....HELP!!

We are having a reception at the church but do not have any entertainment. There will be no dancing. We are looking for appropriate background music that can be played just to create an atmosphere. Someone had suggested Big Band music. But I don`t know any names of bands. I have looked at my local Library to rent tapes. Any suggestions? You can email me at kittums64@mchsi.com

Instead of Big Band music have you considered having a violin/cello play or having a harpist? Either would set a lovely tone to your reception. Although I love Big Band music I`m not so sure it`s the best choice for background music if you`re not having dancing....that`s just my opinion though.
