Wedding Isle Runners
I have no idea as to where to get the isle runners and where to get them cheap. I also wonder, do they have them in colors? Is that tacky? My flower pettels are white and clear so I would prefer to not have a white runner. I`m thinking a shimmer or light blue. Help.

Erica,
You can get white aisle runners at craft stores, out of bridal catalogs, or your florist can also get them.I originally wanted ivory but my florist said they were hard to find in ivory, as most are white.
They are reasonable though. On the other hand there is a website that sells handpainted runners in your theme or color...I don`t remember the name but if you search for handpainted aisle runners I`m sure you will be able to find it. They are pricey though. They list the prices online. Check them out they are beautiful, but we decided not to have a runner. Our church has red carpeting, we had a fall theme so when my flowergirl dropped silk leaves in gold, browns and reds it looked great without one. Good Luck

I went to a wedding back in October and the bride fell down as she walked down the aisle because the runner was on ceramic tile and it moved as she walked. I had already purchased an aisle runner for my December wedding but I didn`t use it and nobody noticed anything -- and I didn`t fall down.

Check with your local party/wedding rental store. They should have them.

Thank you all for your help. ....
Although, my biggest problem is taht I am getting married in a church where everything is red and pink, the carpet-red. My colors are silver and light blue, and white. I just wanted to help the color-scheme a little.

Do your bridmaids walk on the runner also or is this just for the bride?
