Addressing Invitations

What is the proper (or at least acceptable)way to address invitations to married couples that have different last names? I`m not using inner envelopes, if that makes a difference.

If you`re doing less formal invitations I wouldn`t do the Mr. And Mrs. Portion. I`d go only with their names as Meredith indicated. Lack of inner envelopes often reflect a less formal invitation.

Inner envelopes have nothing to do with the formality of the invitation.
