Anyone Else Using A Personal Attendant?

Are any of you asking someone to be your personal attendant?

What will her responsibilities be? I saw this "job" listed on a program, and was intrigued by the idea...

I asked a good friend who I know I can be honest with to be my personal attendant. She is going to field questions from the wedding party, hostesses, etc. That can be answered by
Her, then bringing unanswered questions to me.

She will also run quick "emergency-type" errands should the need arise, like the need for extra tulle, pins, etc. I am also planning to have a bridal emergency kit on hand with things like bandaids, pins, clear fingernail polish, static cling spray, etc.

Also, I don`t actually plan on this happening, but should the need arise for a future family member , family member, church member, wedding party member, etc. To be instructed to do something or not do something that might sound "Bridzillaish" coming from me (such as when my stepmom is hovering or the groomsmen aren`t cooperating...),
I can just pull her off, vent privately, and she can intervene and get us all back on track.

Any other suggestions for helping the wedding day run smoothly?
