First of all, you guys need to learn how to spell. It`s M-O-D-E-L, okay? Secondly, you need to go onto the Internet and go to search.com. Type in "Modeling Agencies in (Your State)". They will probably give you a list of agencies. If you want to expand your horizons like I did, just look for modeling agencies. They will give you agencies all over the world. Have a picture ready so you can always just email it to people. I am five feet even and I am about to get signed to an agency in Goshen, Indiana, whereever that is. Don`t let height, weight, or looks get the best of you. If you`re ready to work with people you will definitely get the job. Also, go to as many go-sees and auditions as humanly possible. Radio stations will usually give you information. Don`t let financial issues get the best of you, either. People will work with you once they see that you are determined to work. Show dedication and many people will show compassion for you and they will work with you. On your email include a picture with height, weight, dress size and shoe size. If you have had previous experience (i.e. I graduated from Barbizon Modeling School and I always consider that experience), include it. Your photos don`t have to be fancy. I just took a school picture and posted it. Don`t be foolish when it comes to the business, however. There are many ways to check for scams. Any agency that makes you pay an upfront cost is wrong! In many states, you should never have to pay an upfront cost, because the agency will get a percentage of what you get from shoots. Agencies can never guarantee you work, but don`t get discouraged. Contracts run out and if you see that you haven`t gotten any work during the entire entity of your contract, then leave that agency and look for someone else. Do what your heart tells you, but don`t be foolish. You should never have to pay tons of money to become a model. I don`t know any teachers who pay tons of money to teach, and modeling is a job, too. Consider that.
