1 Year Old As A Flowergirl

I will be having 3 flowergirl ages 5,3, and 1 . I was thinking that since the 1 year old will probably not be walking that i could put her in a wagon and let my little brother ( age 11 he`s an usher ) pull her down and then let the other flowergirls follow. The 1 year old is our daughter so i want her in it . She is a good baby and doesn`t cry alot or anything so i am not really worried about that . So do you think the wagon idea is good? any other suggestions

Sound fine. You could also rent one of those old fashioned white carriages (the ones w/the big wheels) and decorate it w/flowers and greens to match your color scheme.

Good luck!

How precious! How about putting tulle and ribbons to match your colors on the wagon?

I am using a wagon to hold rose petals for the guests to get handfuls of for our send away, and that`s what I plan to do for decoration.

Just a tip, for those having younger children in their weddings. If it`s an afternoon wedding, let the kids have a nap. My sister had a friends daughter (then 3) as her flower girl. She had her hair done in the morning with everyone else, but then her mom wouldn`t let her nap because she didn`t want her hair to be ruined. Well, she was so grumpy by the time the wedding came around at 4 that while walking down the aisle, she decided to run off in the opposite direction, screaming her lungs out. Not very romantic. So, let them have a nap, then do their hair and dress them just before the ceremony so that they are refreshed and perky.

My soon to be niece was in her aunt`s wedding last summer and was 1 at the time. Her brother was the ring bearer and they both walked down the aisle. It helps if there is someone to walk down with I think! She did a great job and danced all night at the reception!

I just attended a wedding last weekend that they had a one year old ringbearer(son of the couple) and a 20 month old flowergirl. They decorated a wagaon, beautifully and both of them rode in the wagon, with a young usher pulling them.So CUTE!
