Im giving my girls the necklaces they will be wearing and paying for their hair and makeup.

I bought Votive Holders to have Engraved with my Attendants names. I`ll be including a dozen votives.

Just a thought. I`ve been in 7 weddings and it`s always nice to get something more personal than hair, makeup and jewerly to wear in the wedding. Although that is a bonus for sure, it`s not something that should be considered a gift. Think about all the money they have spent to be in YOUR wedding. A gift should be personal, something they can really use. Think about their interests and go from there.

I was thinking the same thing as Kari. The attendants gifts are supposed to be something for them personally not something to enhance your wedding. The jewelry and hair and makeup is nice that you will pay for it but it really isn`t a gift for them to show your appreciation, it`s just something you want them to wear for your wedding. The gifts should be something not wedding related.

Yes....I only have one girl standing up with us.....and she bought her dress and to replace that, we are gettting her a paid nite in the hotel. Then I am also giving her jewelry to wear, and then I found a beautiful candle ornament, she also will be recieving engraved wine glasses to remember the wedding by. I am also paying for her hair and makeup the day of the wedding...which I think is right.....
