Nightmares
Is anyone else having nightmares about the wedding? I`m still only five months out and I already can`t fall asleep at night, and am constantly being woken up. In my last nightmare, we forgotten forgotten about planning the ceremony. We had a preacher that we didn`t know, our unity candle was set up around a corner so no one could see us, the preacher showed a slide show instead of doing the wedding. It was horrible. Does anyone know how to make the wedding mind turn off????

Your not alone. I`ve been going through the same thing.just take a break. Go a day or two without talking about ``wedding`` and all the hard decisions that go alone with that. Spend some girl time with friends, and anything to get your mind off of it. This helped me ,hope it helps you. Good luck.

I don`t have any great advice, but I do want you to know you are sooo not alone on this one. My best friend and I are both getting married and are both having "I forogt...." dreams. And my matron of honor( my sister, married for 7 years already) Is having dreams about my wedding. So I have to agree, taking some time out for "non-wedding" activities might be a way to go. Or create a checklist you can visbly see and check things off as you go. So when you start to worry, you have a hard copy of something say "it`s ok! You got it done already!" Oh, and tylenol PM always works too! Sweet Dreams!

This makes me laugh sooo hard...because I too have done the same thing...my wedding is in a week and i am finding htat i am sleeping better now than i did 5 months ago...you get drained thinking everything through don`t you....all i can sudjest...is make a list for EVERYTHING.......and yes...turn it off for a couple of days...this is all you think about for a whole year...and you do need to take time away from it.....it also contributes to depression after the wedding is over...you spend a whole year,,,sometimes more planning a wedding, saving for a wedding....thinking about that day,,,and then it comes and it is all over and then what? There is nothing to plan...it is all over......take time and relax and enjoy...have the motto of "What ever happens happens" If something is forgotten, which it very likely won`t happen...or if something doesn`t work out as you see it......don`t worry about it....something will fall into place.....you have to enjoy the day,,,good luck to you...
