What About Renting?

Hi. I have been searching for a dress, although i`ve been engaged for acouple of months, and i wanted views on "renting" a wedding dress. I don`t see spending so much money on one dress that i`ll never wear again. I wanted to know if anyone has done it, what it is all about. I thought maybe i could find a beautiful one and rent it. Whata think?
