Ceremony Wedding Vows

I am trying to find the wording (or a script) from Trista and Ryan`s wedding ceremony. Mainly the exact vows they exchanged, all the wording their minister replied through out the ceremony. I thought it was just perfect, not including the symbolism of the "layers of sand", and the letters they wrote to each other, not interested in that though. But every thing else. But I can`t seem to locate the vows, just parts of what they said. I am getting married April 17th, and we are trying to structure are vows and such. Thanks for your help.

I have the words to the sand ceremony with the 3 sands.

"Love is the eternal force of life.
Love is the force that allows us to face fear and uncertainty with courage.
But although you will be sharing one life, never forget you are two separate people.
Cherish and affirm your differences.
Love each other.
Keep your commitment primary.
Together you will laugh and cry, be sick and well, be happy and angry, share and grow.
Grow sometimes together, sometimes separately."

"To symbolize the importance of the individuals within the marriage and the joining of two lives into one entity, 3 colors of sand will now be layered into a base."

(Trista is handed a clear jar of Pink Sand, Ryan is handed a clear jar of Blue Sand. The minister has one small clear jar filled with a Neutral color sand and a large empty jar)

The Minister speaks again:
"We begin with a layer of Neutral Sand which symbolizes that the marriage is grounded."

(The Minister pours a little of the Neutral Sand into the large jar)

"Then we layer the individual colors. This symbolizes that the marriage is based on the strength of the individuals."

(Ryan poured a little of the Blue Sand in first, followed by a little more of the Neutral Sand from the minister. Trista then added a little of the Pink Sand, followed by some additional Neutral Sand from the minister).

"And now we combine the colors, which symbolizes two lives joined as one together forever."

(Ryan and Trista simultaneously pour their remaining sand into the large jar until their jars are empty. The minister caps off the sand with the last of the Neutral Sand. The minister then holds the large jar up as if presenting to the wedding audience and places the jar to the side)

The End

Thank you for the question and response. I have been looking for the same thing for hours on the computer!!!!! I will use the sand ceremony @ my wedding May 29, 2004. The unity candle is played out! Plus you pay $25-40 for a candle you may never use. I can use the sand vase. :)

I found these...I`m pretty sure they are right:
“I Trista take you Ryan, to be my husband. I will treasure our friendship, and love you today, tomorrow and forever. I will trust and honor you. I will laugh and cry with you, and share my life openly and honestly with you. What may come, I will always be there. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I promise you my trust, my devotion, my tenderness, and my love. As I’ve given you my hand to hold, so I give you my life to keep.”

The officiant then asked, “Will you take Ryan as your husband, as your companion and best friend. Do you promise to treat him with love and devotion, honor and respect, to stand by him during the triumphs and tragedies of life as a faithful and caring wife?”

After they were pronounced husband and wife, Trista lept into Ryan’s arms for a romantic kiss.
Good Luck:)
