Male Strippers Or Not?

I am to organise a bachelorette party for my best friend, when the subject of strippers came up all i got as a response was a laugh. She is the first friend to get married and only one of us has been to a bachelorette before. The idea of one or two strippers does sound fun but I am worried what beer and naked men may result in. Any tips on keeping control or are these events mostly harmless and am i worring for no reason? thanks
