Grooms Family Shower For The Bride
Two of the grooms aunts are giving a bridal shower for his side of the family and friends of his parents who have never met the bride. Now his mother is starting to dictate the shower, such as party favors for gifts, invitations extra. She has decided that she will make the party favors and the invitations and the aunts can pay her for them. One Aunt is agreeable, the other aunt is not agreeable to this arangment as the mother of the groom is not giving or financially contributing to the shower. She now wants to graciously back out of helping with the shower. Please Help in who is right and who is wrong. Confused in California

The groom`s mother is overstepping her bounds. If the aunts are the hosts, they make the decisions, not her. They need to thank her for her suggestions and let her know that they have everything under control.
