FALL FAVORS--CHEAP
I am getting married in early October, since I am still in school the wedding is on a tight budget (extremely hard to do by the way). I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for wedding favors that were cheap, but didn`t look cheap. I am also open to any suggestions for homemade favors. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks!!

I found foil wrapped fall leaves on a site, they are $1.00 each, which includes 3 foil wrapped chocolate leaves in fall colors, the bag to put them in and ribbon to tie the bag. (if you would like the site e-mail me skm326@usadatanet.net and I will send you the link) You could also make your own chocolate candies. Some places also sell maple sugar candy, not sure how much that would cost, but might be something to look into.

Thanks for the idea. We are going to have almost 400 guests and I am afraid that will get a little pricy...Any other suggestions? I am not afraid to make things myself either.

Thought I would drop this idea to you. A cheap party favor for your guests that you could make yourself, with maybe some help from your bridesmaids to get it done faster. You can take one piece of hersey`s kiss candy and one piece of hersey`s hug candy, cut a square of tool fabric to wrap these up together and tie it together with colored ribbon (the kind you tie on the end of a balloon works good) then on the computer make a little note that says something cute like "here is a hug and a kiss from the bride and groom, your presence at our wedding means so much to us" cut these little notes and punch a small hole in the note and string the ribbon thru the whole and there you go, a cheaper, nice gift. You can even get some cool scissor that cut jagged at a craft store for cheap to cut your notes out around the edges to give it a fancier look. Just an idea. It takes some time but doesn`t cost too much to do. Hope it helps. Good luck!
