Fishing Theme Wedding - Need Decoration Ideas

I am getting married in 3 months and need ideas for decorating the reception sight in a fishing theme. Any links where I can see pictures of cakes or head tables would be great. We have the centerpieces done, but still need lots of ideas. Thanks:)

Here`s an idea for a wedding cake. If you can find 6 inch figurines with fishing poles, you can have them sitting on each side of a tier, fishing off another tier, but different ones, so the cake can have more tiers. On top of the two tiers being fished off of, make it look like a pond or some kind of body of water. I wish I could draw you a picture. It looks great in my head. For decorations, use fish netting like material in place of tulle I`d have to put more thought into a fishing theme. Those ideas were just off the top of my head. Good luck!

Hi there - we too are doing a fishing theme and have found a few cute ideas. On the tables at the reception hall we are placing two goldfish in a bowl, with out wedding color beads in the bottom of the bowl. The entrance way to the hall we are making an archway with old fishing poles. We are still working on a few of the details. We are making our own invitations with fishing themed scrapbook paper. I found a couple of cake toppers on apictureperfectwedding.com, that way we could still use our colors and dress up the cake.

You could always do fish shaped cupcakes in tiers for the cake, a tackle box cake with lures etc., there are many numerous ideas. I am not normally a fan of martha stewart but she did a child`s birthday party in a fishing theme last year, not sure when it was but some of the ideas were cute and could be used at a wedding.
