Split Plate Costs?

Hi, Big Lots has some interesting very plain ecru and cream plates (dinner and salad) for 99 cents each. That is more expensive than most rental places around here, but if they were used 3 times by three differnt people, it would be cheaper, and honestly, for those of use that want something other than gold rimmed or stark white, it would be a better aesthetic option. Obviously the cost of shipping would negate the savings for outside of the Colorado area? anyone interested?
