Brother Of The Bride Song
My boyfriend`s sister is getting married August of next year. Their mother died when they were both really young & she spent her growing up years raising her little brother. They aren`t affectionately close but one without the other is a half sunken ship. While making wedding plans she`s decided that there will be a song where just herself & her brother dance but we`re having an awful time coming up with a very original song. Maybe even one the reflects what they`ve gone thru going up and not having their mom there. Any help would be more than appreciated! Thanx in advance!!

Sorry to intrude on your message, but I need one too! I`m 20 and I`ve never met my dad. My brother (who is 6) is giving me away is taking the place of a father when it comes to the "father daughter dance" and we`re turning it into a "brother sister dance" But anyways, I need a song too... Please help us!

I`m 21 and my bf and I recently got engaged and one of the first things I thought about was how I would handle the typical father/daughter dance. My father passed away suddenly when I was 15. I have 4 older brothers who are 10 or more years older then me so growing up they weren`t around that much but they are still very important to me. I would like to do a sister/brother dance where I can switch partners with my brothers periodically during the song but I don`t know what song to pick. I don`t want anything too sentimental or mushy, just something to capture the moment.

I was married 14 years ago. My older brother gave me away at my wedding. My father had died two years earlier. I had the brother of the bride dance. We danced to "He ain`t heavy he`s my brother." Olivia Newton-John sings a remake of this song. It really is a pretty song. Good luck.

Hi im 18 and me and my bf are gettin married in may and i dont really know my dad he stoped coming to see me when i was 11. Me and my older brother are very close but he got married when i was about 6 and after that we really were not close but know i talk to him all the time and he is the one that is going to hand me off but i dont know what song to play for the brother sister dance
