Wedding Song
Hi, i need an idea for a song. My sister is getting married and she asked one of our friends to sing in the wedding. The woman is 25 so i would like something a little contemporary yet meaningful. It doesnt matter what type of music either. They`re getting married on valentines day if that helps.

There are so many great love songs out there. The ones I recommend are "Stand by me" by Ben E. King, Unchained Melody by "The Righeous Brothers", or "Wind beneath my wings" by Bette Middler.

The song that I am using is "From this Moment" by Shania Twain. I don`t know how popular of a song it is, but when I heard this song about 2 years ago, I just knew that I had to have it at my wedding ceremony.

Is it going to be a christian ceremony? If so check out "Fly" by Sara Groves. My sis is using it for her wedding in Oct. You can hear a clip of it ,and read the lyrics just click on music. Hopes this helps-jen

I agree - Valentine by Martina McBride would be perfect. I could not ask for more by Edwin McCain would also be very pretty.

I don`t know the setting for the wedding but if you are going for a more down home country or folk type of wedding try Bob Dylan`s "Wedding Song" it`s wonderful.
