Table Linens

The place where I`m having my reception has those ugly round fold-out tables and fold-out chairs. I keep thinking how much better the tables and chairs would look w/ table cloths and chair covers. However, my budget is about $4200 and most rental places want $10-20/table cloth and $3-6/chair slip. Since we`re expecting about 200 guests renting the linens would deplete my budget. Any suggestions? I was thinking I could make my own but fabric is expensive as well. Please help.

I had seen some affordable ones on this wholesale fabric website, but I don`t remember the address. Just search online, maybe you can find something? You can also use plastic table cloths that usually run about $3 each. I know most party stores sell big rolls of paper that you can use as a table cloth. For the chairs if you can`t find an inexpensive chair cover, you can buy lots of tulle and just tie it around the chair and make a big bow in the back. Hope that helps!

Consider single sheets. There are gorgeous ones out there there and they fit banquet tables perfectly. I have used them many times in different settings for dinners etc.
