Anyone Make Their Own Flowers For Wedding?
I am still looking for flower ideas, I had a few people who will make my whole set for $150.00 (silk flowers) but I was wondering if anyone had made their own for their wedding and would like to share if it was cheaper than that and how to go about doing it, or if the price she is going to charge is reasonable and I should just go ahead and have her do them (I think making them myself would save me money, BUT I think having her make them would save me a lot of stress)
The price she quoted me would be for my bouquet, a bouquet to toss, 5 bridesmaids boquets, 1 flower girl bouquet, grooms bout., 5 groomsmen bouts., 2 mother cors. And 2 father bouts.

I made my own flowers for my wedding--all of the ones you mentioned plus corsages for the cake cutters, guest book attendant, hosts at the reception, etc. I ended up saving some money, as I had a long engagement and was able to buy my silk flowers at the end of the season. Unless you have plenty of time to get them done, if I were you, I would go for the $150 and not have to mess with it. :o) Congratulations and good luck on your day! K

I wish I could find someone to make my flowers for that price! That is my biggest struggle at the moment. I am trying to keep the cost of my wedding in the $3000.00 range and finding reasonably priced flowers is driving me crazy! I say go for it ... Have her do the flowers and good luck on your wedding!

THAT`S A GREAT DEAL!!! DON`T PASS THAT UP!!! I made the flowers for my wedding and spent a little more than that.
