Summertime weddings are so easy to do very affordably!
I planned a summer wedding this year that was absolutley darling, and it ended up being less than $1000. It was a casual Sunday Ceremony held in a very beautiful (and free) park near a historic monument. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a Sunday Barbeque Picnic. Decorations were wildflowers/sunflowers and traditional red-checked picnic tablecloths with candles as centerpieces.

Try looking into using a State Park for the ceremony. I know hte Ridley Creek State Park in Pa does not charge for weddings and for $100 you can reserve and use the "Mansion" if it rains.
I recently got married outside and we actually did the ceremony at the golf course where our reception was held and were not charged extra and time was not deducted from our reception. If you need more help, feel free to contact me. Thanks and good luck!
