Step Father

Ok for wedding party gifts i was planning on giving the parents a frame with a farther/mother poem. Well my FH has a step father and a father. Well his step father has been more of a father then his real father has been. Him and his father get along but his father hasnt` been there for him at all. His step father is great, I need a poem that says how he was a father that he really didn`t have to be, like that song.
But i need one for his father too, I don`t know what it shodl really say, i don`t want to me mean considering he is his father. ???
Does anybody have any good ideas or good websites for poems.
Thanks!!

I got my stepdad a gift from wicks `n` sticks that I think may help you. It was one of the "books" and had a nice poem about dads vs. Fathers. I specifically remember the line "A father feeds you/a dad nourishes you." Good luck!

I`ve never heard of that place, is there one in Washington? Or on the internet? I`d love a copy for my step dad.

You can go to wicksnsticks.com. Looks like there`s one in Kennewick at Columbia Center, and the site has a catalog you can download with Adobe Acrobat Reader (although it`s being stupid for me). It`s a candle store, and that`s all I can see on the site without getting to the catalog.

Sorry about the double post, but I called my dad and git the name of the company that made these, and it`s called Books of Love (booksoflove.com). On the menu on the left, click on "family" on the left, and on the next page, click on "dads." A copy of the poem will be on the right.

I gave our mothers (his mom, my mom, and my step mother) and grandparents frames with poems in it. My father, his father, and my step father - we got money clips with their initials engraved. The poems are more sentimental for women to have. All of our family loved our gifts.
