GETTING MARRIED ABROAD

Can anyone help me - my partner and I are considering getting married in Barbados next year - july / aug - but can`t seem to find any info about it on the internet - the Do`s and the Don`ts of getting married abroad.

If anyone has got married abroad could they please let me know the pitfalls of it and whether its a good or bad idea. Thanks!!!
