I Wrote My Own Fathter/ Daughter Dance Song
Wrote this song for my Daughters up and coming
Wedding and would like some feedback?
Daughter of Mine
Daughter Of Mine
You Make My Sun Shine
You’ve Become Every Thing
I Could Ever Want
Daughter of Mine
You Went From Ponytails To Wine
In Such a Short Time
I Can’t Imagine
Daughter Of Mine
Can’t Help But Cry Sometimes
Over the Thought of Losing You
To Another Man
Daughter of Mine
This Is the Way It Must Be
To Love And Blossom
The Family Tree
Daughter of Mine
On This Wedding Day So Fine
I will Be Giving You Away
To Start A New Day
Daughter Of Mine
Look At You Now
A Child Grown Up
A Woman Smiling Back At Me
Daughter Of Mine
Some Things Will Come To Pass
And Some Things Will Never Change
As My Love Will Never Wane
Daughter Of Mine
You Will Always Be
My Little Girl
Sweetheart In Curls
(repeat)

You might want to reconsider this verse (It sounds kind of creepy):
Daughter Of Mine
Can’t Help But Cry Sometimes
Over the Thought of Losing You
To Another Man

I think it is pretty and a great idea. I don`t think that line that was mentioned above is "creepy" . You are giving your daughter away to another man. My only suggestion is there might be to many Daughter of Mine lines in the song. I say that however not knowing the pace of how it is to be sang or anything so take that with a grain of salt. The words behind it are beautiful. Congratulations.

"creepy" probably wasn`t the right word. But it doesn`t really sound like something a father would say to a daughter. It sounds more like a scorned lover talking about his gal`s new beau.
