How Do I Become A Weddin Planner
I am in high school and I really want to be a wedding planner. I want to know if there are any certain courses I should take to help me. What kind of college would I have to go to if I had to go to college???
Thanx,

First of all take a look on the intranet and get some feed back from others of where you should start.
There are alot of different courses available online as well as home study...that`s how I did mine.
Make sure to check how updated the information is and what kind of help is offered to you if you do it outside of a classroom enviroment. The best thing you can do to start is get a P/T job working in a Wedding related business or volunteer work. Get experience in as many fields as you can because it will work to your benefit. Doing Catering is an excellent opportunity to get into the business in a variety of areas. You can gain knowledge of everything from meals, decor, business planning, serving and more.
I began yearsssssss ago working for a cappucino company which catered weddings and events and then I got into a hotel and gained experience there, then retail stores with Gift registry`s, I took photography in school as well as a bartending class. I took additional classes in sewing and abit of cooking classes too. You have to think of all the things out there available to you at your young age will work to your advantage and before you know it you`ll be a huge success.
If you have any questions let me know.
