I have been a model/actress, make-up artist and professional stylist for several years and want to offer all of you my assistance. Before I explain how, where, and what you need to do to get started in the acting or modeling industry please listen to the following advice.

NEVER, EVER give money to an agent/agency or modeling school that promises to get you work! Any agent/agency or modeling school that says they can guarantee you a modeling or acting assignment if you take their courses/workshops are lying and taking advantage of you.

Also, most modeling schools aren`t authentic because you can`t really be taught to be a model. Basically, you either have the look or you don`t. On the other hand, it`s a good idea to begin taking acting classes if you want to act. Just be sure to check out the studio offering them with the Better Business Bureau first. Also, if an agency or a potential client likes your look or thinks that you have potential, they can set you up with photographers to do your shoot.

The first pictures you will need are a standard 8x10 Head Shot, a 3/4 length shot and a full length shot. The pictures should look professional and you should look natural. The worst thing you could do is put on a lot of make-up. Trust me, keep your make-up to a minimum and keep your hair styled naturally.
If you don`t have the money to get your pictures taken professionally call around and ask photographers if they would be willing to test you. It means they will test shoot you for free in exchange for using your photos. Yes, you should get copies of the pictures. Good luck.

I suggest you go to actoing classes even if you do nt need them mabe there i somthing you could be better at then look on line ( with and adult) and look for an agent then (s)he will help you when you getan adittion go to liminated too they have clthes there that will make you look fabulaus.
