I Loved David`s Bridal
I have had wonderful experiences with David`s Bridal and have recommended them to all of my friends getting married. I have been to 4 different stores in Illinois and have been treated wonderfully at all of them. I have been personally involved in 4 weddings one of which was my own and recommended the store to a whole lot more people. I am a plus sized woman and enjoyed the idea of going in and being able to try on a dress in MY size. Any of the boutiques that I went to had size 8-14 on the racks to try on and then used clips to show you what it would look like on you. If they could even order the dress. The girls in my wedding party ranged in size from 6 to 24 and they were all able to try on a dress before ordering them. I have never purchased a dress from the store and taken it home with me from David`s. The key to getting the attention you want is to make an appointment. I had the store to myself when I went looking for my dress because I went on a Tuesday night. I had 3 consultants working with me and my mother to find the perfect dress. When I went with my attendants, I also made an appointment and told them it was to look for their dresses and how many people I was planning on having. They had 2 people assigned to our group of 8 but again we went on Thursday night. I really was thankful for the expertiece that was given to me with every occasion. I really think that the problem lies in the store, not the company. I would try a different store before making up your mind not to shop there.

Is it just me, or does this sound really really fake?

My cousin bought her dress there, as well as 5 bridesmaids, the flower girl, her mothers outfit and all her accesories. Everything was perfect.
But then my other cousin (her sister) went, and it was awful, they sent the wrong dresses, didnt do the alterations properly and overcharged her.
So I guess its just the luck of the draw :)

I too, had a positive experience at David`s bridal in Illinois. I bought everything from my tiara to my shoes and wrap there and also had my alterations there that only cost $65.00. The only negative is that I should of shopped around for my tiara, after I bought it I realized I could of done much better as far as cost went, but it matched my dress perfectly. I have seen my dress almost $500.00 more than I payed at a boutique so I guess the money I spent on the tiara is no big deal. I got married in November and also used David`s preservation service. I got my dress back about two weeks ago without a problem also. So I would recommend David`s to anyone.
