The bridesmaids will be wearing lilac-colored dresses and the mother of the bride will be wearing a formal dress, the color is `eggplant`.

As mother of the groom, what color of dress should I look for? The wedding will be early August.

I know that some will think this is corny, but i like the idea of you wearing eggplant also. It will give this harmonic feeling between you and the mother of the bride....
