COMPLAINT To Men`s Warehouse

My first born daughter`s marriage night; it should have been a night of happiness and joy with I, as the father of the bride, basking in the glory of the night`s revelry. Instead it became the night of my greatest humiliation. I ordered two tuxedo, one for myself, the other for my son and due to many other time constraints I was unable to pick up the items until the day of the event. I came in and tried mine on and told the person assisting me that I thought the pants were too baggy. She adjusted them with the side straps and said it would be fine. It wasn`t. I took the tuxes home and contiued with more pressing last minute items for the remainder of day until I dressed and went to meet my wife and daughter at the church. Throughout the night I was ridiculed and made sport of by my continual need to pull my pants up and the fact that my coat was so small it made my rear stick out like I was wearing a bustle. I had to cry out to the DJ to stop the music during the father/daughter dance. Since the event was so well filmed and witnessed by friends, family and business associates I will never be able to live this indelicacy down. I have been made a fool by you and your company and the memory of that precious moment is forever scarred by the Men`s Warehouse and my only pleasure will be to warn every person I can to use any service but yours. Less than cordial, Dan R Parfait [Today, 4 days later they called and offered a partial refund- for the greatest humiliation of my life- a partial refund. Please email them and tell them you heard my story. Re:Complaint]

You were only made a fool because it was of your own foolishness! Anyone with an intelligence level of a squash plant knows you never wait to the day before the event ( and late at that) to try on a tux. You didn`t know the jacket was too small when you tried it on? Does someone dress you everyday? Then you call attention to yourself by screaming to the DJ, in front of a whole room full of people, to stop the music. Sorry but Mens warehouse did not make a fool of you, that was done by your own lack of common sense.

I understand the problems completely. Tuxes came in 2 days before my wedding. 6 of 8 didn`t fit. Why, when something is measured so precisely, do they not fit at all. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Mens warehouse did nothing when i contacted them directly.

Dan,
It`s your own fault! I would not refund you a dime. Come on, It is your daughters wedding and you could not find time to TRY THE TUX ON? I cant believe you are blaming the Men`s Warehouse for your lack of planning. I feel sorry for your daughter but certainly not you. Get with it! Next time fit the tux before the day of the event.

I can only guess from your posting that you are often unprepared in life & are used to blaming others for this traight. Grow up. You are responsible for your ill fitting outfit on your daughter`s special day. You could have ignored your discomfort, kept your mouth shut, found a safety pin, & let your daughter be happy. But noooo. You whined & complained & to this day, you take away from that event. Get over it & let her try & rebuild some good memories.

You should consider buying a tuxedo. A used one is very inexpensive and you know what you are getting.

You never know when you might want to wear one out to a social event as they are worn more commonly now.
